Now, I guess they have grown up, and becoming elite day by day.
Yes, it was a surprise that I got a message on gTalk from Siv and then speculated this couldnt be siv, even if he was so drunk.
It wasn’t just anything else but the message I got. *grin*
I think its cos maybe one of them found it irresistable with the doggie image I had on my profile picture – Nothing else really could have attracted them – They hadnt met me yet.
I call up Siv to confirm that he was no where closer to the computer – and it explains it all.
I’m wondering what is going to happen to smoke zones in offices – With the new amendment of law against smoking in public to be made effective May 2008.
It is going to be pretty interesting…as I remember how some of the smoking co-workers were disheartened when several of the smoke zones were banned & reduced to few in my office facility. They literally lived it and it was a little too much of a nosy act, well they had no choice thats a different story altogether.
Now with this new act coming into picture, its going to be tough for the amount of people who smoke and who sell smoke. Read the rest of this entry »
Though there has been some amount of support that has been given by some of the Indian IT Giants, overall Microsoft had to take a slap on its face with this rejection that they were dreaming to be successful.
This rejection has lead to India voting against Microsoft’s OXML being adopted as a standard by ISO.
I’m going to try and understand the stand of other countries that are members of the ISO in this issue.
Its sheer disgrace, at least in a country which boasts to believe in “Aditi Devo Bhava” ( Guests are supposed to be treated in par with gods) to have situations that crop up every now and then about tourists getting molested and abused.
It was Mumbai some NRI, then a British tourist in Goa, now a German tourist in Goa again.
It certainly doesn’t give a good picture about Goa not for me at least.
An amazingly plotted movie with an amazingly plotted bank robbery!
The movie starts with Clive Owen narrating and asking the audience to pay attention, now, thats a hint for the knot and the naming reason of the movie.
Extremely elegant performance by Clive Owen, Denzel Washington, Jodie Foster & rest of the crew.
A master minded, good hearted bank robber, who has planned it really well and gets away successfully as well just as he promised.
A straight forward, honest, intelligent detective, who has to solve the case to set right his reputation that was maligned in his previous investigation – With a girl friend waiting for them to get married, temptations are huge to get corrupted.
A power broker who barely cares about what words a mayor uses to call her, very focussed only on the results and has the guts to take the risk.
Oh boy, now whats the world coming to – Intercepting emails that are pushed via Blackberry, whats the plan about the rest of the world that pulls email?
Its been told that the whole sensational issue was brought out to limelight when the TaTa Teleservices were denied permission by the home affairs ministry to launch push email services owing to “security concerns”, where as there are other operators playing the game.
Now, how political that could be, only they might know who really knows.
Besides, whats the whole idea? Why not ban cellular services, GSM, CDMA, GPRS, EDGE, Internet et al. Read the rest of this entry »
What is with living one’s life the way it is and living one’s life with a perspective around it?
All I see is commotion, chaos, ruckus if everything in life is seen with theories or if everything is seen with a pragmatic perspective.
What is life without feelings?
Neither the theories nor the practicality seem to have any feelings around it.
Theories seem to bring in confusion in life by making one get entangled with too many thoughts that doesn’t help one to lead a peaceful life and when one is too practical, they tend to forget the reality and look at everything from a perspective of frames and lose the joy of enjoying the moment. A wish list one would want to have accomplished before they kick the bucket – Pretty simple to be put.
There are things in life that might look like surrealistic dreams, wishful thinking one could only dream of and not really pragmatic about, but ask the dreamer who dreams the dream and wants to achieve it.
Now thats one hot happening that does affect almost all.
It seems that this time it might help a bit with another 40K Rs being added to the tax free slab – Thanks to the Finance Minister Mr. P Chidambaram.
Tax is one dreadful thing that can happen to someone if they hadn’t planned their investment and hadn’t made themselves either a car owner / house owner – Now that I suck at that, it is indeed dreadful, very scary and wasn’t too much of fun to see the salary that got credited to my account after a huge deduction and I was told to expect the same for the next month as well.
Thanks to my thought fulness about submitting my paper work for tax at least after the last day, not really my fault, but I for sure could have planned and done stuff much earlier – Thats a lesson to remember and act upon.
Now that I’ve decided its time to do something about blogging a bit more actively until I fix http://blog.uth.in and its competetitve non-functioning nature, http://creativewolf.wordpress.com will be the new home (hopefully temporary).
Active blogging to myself & happy reading to anyone who stumble upon this.
